The following agreement will need to be signed by you (the buyer) at the time of purchase of the puppy.
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the sale of the puppy. All of our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and free from visible signs of infection and contagious or communicable diseases when purchased.
Within 48 hours of Purchase
If your puppy is returned for any health reason that was not disclosed by our Veterinarian exam, within 48 hours of purchase, we will take the puppy back, at buyer expense, and refund 100% of the purchase price, or provide a replacement puppy if available. Accidents, injury, and sort of sickness/disease/infection/fungus including and not limited to parvo, distemper, influenza, kennel cough, valley fever, etc... after the puppy leaves our home are NOT covered.
If your puppy is diagnosed by a qualified Licensed Veterinarian as having a life threatening or seriously disabling defect of certain congenital/genetic origin any time in its life, Hellerprinz Rottweilers will offer:
1.) A replacement puppy when one becomes available.
*In this instance, you can choose to retain ownership of the original puppy.
We reserve the right to require a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choice at our expense. If the puppy is euthanized or in any way disposed of, without a second opinion from the seller’s veterinarian, the buyer waives all rights to a replacement puppy. All veterinarian paperwork must have the dogs micro-chip number on the documents and have been verified by the Veterinarian.
This Guarantee covers both common and uncommon diseases of definite genetic or congenital origin that are either life threatening or severely impact your dog's quality of life.
This includes severe hip dysplasia, subluxation, and Grade 3 elbow dysplasia, provided that the dog is not spayed or neutered before 24 months of age and is never allowed to become obese with vet records to verify this, with dogs micro-chip number on all documents.
Neutering or spaying your dog prior to atleast 24 months of age VOIDS any and all Health Guarantees.
It also covers Grade V or VI heart murmurs that were present at the puppy stage and persist after 20 weeks of age.
In addition, all genetic diseases in Rottweilers that we are able to genetically screen our parent dogs for, if they severely impact the life of your puppy, are covered by this Lifetime Guarantee, including JLPP (Juvenile Laryngeal Paralysis and Polyneuropathy).
Note: This warranty is void in the event of an undetermined or inconclusive diagnosis. Diseases of likely environmental origin (likely to be caused by sub-optimal diet, chemicals, or trauma) are not covered.
If your puppy dies and you request a replacement, you must have a necropsy performed by a suitably qualified veterinarian at your expense to determine the cause of death. Your puppy will be replaced if the death was caused by a genetic or congenital disease or abnormality which your puppy had at the time of purchase if it had not been discovered or disclosed. For this reason, it is advisable to have your puppy checked by your own veterinarian within 48 hours of purchase.
For the long-term health of your puppy we recommend a diet containing no more than 26 % protein, minimal exposure to food additives, and spay or neuter at 24 months of age or older. We also recommend minimizing exposure to veterinary drugs (such as flea and heart worm treatments, vaccinations and dewormers) to the minimum dosage and frequency needed to safeguard your pet’s health.
We also recommend that your puppy never be exposed to places that dogs are frequent. Like dog parks, Pet stores, even an open yard that strange dogs can run thru. Viruses, worms, bacterium, infection, etc. can easily be left there, even by a dog who ran thru your yard, and new baby puppies are extremely prone to pick these things up despite being fully vaccinated. Hellerprinz Rottweilers is NOT responsible for covering any costs associated with the ownership of the puppy, including any surgeries or required for any costs associated with veterinarian care.
Your puppy also has a lifetime re-homing guarantee with us, so should you have an inability to care for him or her in the future, you can contact us at any stage of your puppy's life. Under no circumstances must your puppy ever be given up to a shelter.
The Breeder does not guarantee the puppy’s adult size, weight, coat, skin conditions, temperament, or trainability.
The puppy is sold as a pet-quality dog only, and no guarantee is made regarding the ability to breed or show the dog.
The Breeder provides no warranties other than those stated in this agreement.
